Reflecting on insightful NAIDOC Week moments this year, I'm reminded of the richness of this celebration.

As we settle in at the stunning Pilbara Yandeyarra country after two days towing supplies from Perth, I’m reminded of the rare privilege it will be for us all sharing sacred time in the closed, remote Aboriginal community.

Perhaps the most important psychological and emotional development of my life has been the discovery, awakening and nurturing of my inner feminine. And what better time to share Women’s Wellbeing Weekend than on IWD.

Yesterday I spoke with one of my Aboriginal friends in the Pilbara, and shared “I’ll be thinking of you and the family tomorrow”, to which she replied “why, what’s tomorrow?”
